As a retired gerontologist living in Costa Rica I now have the time to indulge my long-time hobby of photography and the subject matter here is almost infinite. I especially enjoy the natural beauty and great variety of life forms. Most of my photos are taken on my little "finquita" where highland wet forest, organic food gardens including tropical fruits and vegetables, and my own tropical decorative gardens provide a plethora of photo ops. Neighbors and friends help me with opportunities to photograph real people doing real work and play. All people recognizable in my photos have signed releases. Besides the joy of photography, my photography supplements my very meager retirement income.
